One of two original dramas produced by Mammoth Screen for BBC Two Northern Ireland under the Primetime banner, At Water’s Edge is the story of Beth, a woman who has been trying for a baby for years but whose experiments with IVF are rudely interrupted by a fatal car accident. Family life in Northern Ireland is largely missing from our screens, and married writers Dean and Glynis Hagan wanted to use the Primetime opportunity to rectify the situation.
