Before establishing Mammoth Screen in 2007, Michele was Controller of Drama at ITV Productions for 6 years, with credits including HOUSEWIFE 49, WILLIAM & MARY, LEWIS, MARPLE, POIROT, WALK AWAY AND I STUMBLE, THE LAST DETECTIVE, THE HISTORY OF MR POLLY, FAMILY and NIGHT AND DAY for ITV, the multi award winning SEX TRAFFIC for Channel 4, and BALLET SHOES, DRACULA and CASANOVA (with Red Productions) for the BBC. She continues to executive produce MARPLE, POIROT and LEWIS for ITV Studios.

Prior to this Michele was Controller of Drama at United Productions for 4 years, working on OLIVER TWIST, the Emmy winning HORNBLOWER with A&E , WHERE THE HEART IS, WITHOUT MOTIVE, THE TURN OF THE SCREW, IN THE NAME OF LOVE, INNOCENTS for Channel 4 and HEARTS AND BONES for BBC 1.

Michele worked at Central Films where she produced BOON, GONE TO THE DOGS and PEAK PRACTICE. Before this she worked at Euston Films, starting her career at Thames Television.

DAMIEN TIMMER
Joint Managing Director

Damien established Mammoth in 2007. Prior to this he was Head of Drama for ITV Productions for five years, overseeing shows including HOUSEWIFE 49, LEWIS, MARPLE, POIROT, THE HISTORY OF MR POLLY, WALK AWAY AND I STUMBLE, JERICHO, IF I HAD YOU, THE BRIEF, LONDON'S BURNING, ME AND MRS JONES and NIGHT AND DAY for ITV, and BALLET SHOES, DRACULA and CASANOVA (with Red Productions) for the BBC. He continues to executive produce MARPLE, POIROT and LEWIS for ITV Studios.

Damien worked at United Productions for 3 years as an Executive Producer on shows including HEARTS AND BONES for BBC1 and WHERE THE HEART IS and TOUCHING EVIL for ITV. Before this Damien worked at Central Films and Carlton for four years, producing PEAK PRACTICE, developing projects including FRENCHMAN'S CREEK, HEAT OF THE SUN and THE UNKNOWN SOLDIER and script editing CADFAEL, KAVANAGH QC and INSPECTOR 10SE.

JON WILLIAMS
Director of Production & Finance

Jon joined Mammoth Screen in 2007. Prior to this he was Production Executive at ITV Productions, overseeing MARPLE, WILLIAM AND MARY, THE LAST DETECTIVE, WHATEVER LOVE MEANS, WALK AWAY AND I STUMBLE, THE BRIEF, DRACULA and THE HISTORY OF MR POLLY.

Before this he was Finance Manager for Granada Media working on PRIME SUSPECT, SEX TRAFFIC, COLD FEET, LIFE BEGINS, POIROT, DR ZHIVAGO, ISLAND AT WAR, HENRY VIII and THE FORSYTE SAGA.

Jon cut his production teeth at United Productions working as management accountant and then production accountant on HEARTS AND BONES and WHERE THE HEART IS. He is a chartered management accountant by training.

James Penny
Commercial Director

James is primarily responsible for all Mammoth's commercial and business affairs, having joined the company in 2012. From 2006 he was a lawyer in private practice, advising many of the UK's leading television production companies as well as agents, broadcasters and financiers. He acted for Mammoth throughout this time, and played a leading role in the launch of the company. He is also a board member of Northern Ireland Screen.

Between 2003 and 2006, James worked on dozens of drama, comedy programmes and the occasional feature film at Granada Television, eventually becoming Head of Business Affairs (Drama, Comedy and Film). Projects include THE ROYLE FAMILY, PRIME SUSPECT, CRACKER, HENRY VIII, THE QUEEN, SEX TRAFFIC and HOUSEWIFE 49.

Before joining Granada, James trained and worked in the Media Department of a City law firm for over 5 years.

He read Law at Durham University and has a Post-graduate Diploma in UK, US and EU Copyright from King's College, London.


REBECCA KEANE
Creative Director
Rebecca has worked at Mammoth since its launch, overseeing the development slate and executive producing various shows.

Before joining Mammoth, Rebecca was an executive producer at ITV Productions, working on a wide range of shows including BALLET SHOES, WHATEVER LOVE MEANS, DRACULA, THE HISTORY OF MR POLLY, WALK AWAY AND I STUMBLE, JERICHO, FALLEN, DADDY'S GIRL and WHERE THE HEART IS.

Rebecca produced CLOSE AND TRUE for United Productions and was script executive on IN THE NAME OF LOVE, TOUCHING EVIL and AN UNSUITABLE JOB FOR A WOMAN. Before this she script edited PEAK PRACTICE for Carlton TV. She studied SPS at Cambridge University, abandoning a PhD to work in TV.

Karen Thrussell
Executive Producer

Karen joined Mammoth in 2012 after two years as Executive Producer at Chorion, looking after the film, tv and stage exploitation of literary estates for writers including Agatha Christie, Georges Simenon, Enid Blyton and Raymond Chandler.

Prior to this Karen produced 20 POIROT and MARPLE films for ITV Studios and the 2 part thriller IF I HAD YOU, and was a script editor on MARPLE, POIROT and NIGHT AND DAY.

Karen started as an Assistant Director in film and tv after studying drama at Brunel University.

PREETHI MAVAHALLI
Development Editor

Preethi joined Mammoth in 2011. Prior to this she worked in development at Film4, and was a Development Associate on London Film School's Hothouse programme. She has developed and produced a number of short films including a stereoscopic 3D project and was recently appointed one of 6 young Creative Directors for the multi-disciplinary Coming Up festival created by Old Vic New Voices and IdeasTap.

She joined Film London to work on Microwave, the first innovative micro-budget feature film scheme in the UK where she worked across the slate of films from development through to exhibition including BAFTA-nominated SHIFTY and Ben Drew aka Plan B's directorial debut ILL MANORS.

Preethi entered the film industry when she was awarded a scholarship to study at the Film Business Academy, working on short films and as a freelance script reader. She read History at Oxford University.

MICHAEL RAY
Development Editor

Michael joined Mammoth in August 2008, rising through the ranks to his current position working in development. He previously worked as a runner at Carnival Film & Television.

Prior to this, Michael took a degree in Television Production at Bournemouth University. A work experience placement with documentary company Cicada Films. Left to his first full employment in television after graduating.

Melanie Morris
Business Affairs Manager

Melanie joined Mammoth in January 2012. Previously she worked in private practice advising a range of UK production companies, and was a production lawyer at Endemol UK and Avalon Television. Prior to this she worked in corporate law.

Before training as a lawyer Melanie worked in television production and development. She read English at Oxford University and has a masters from Trinity College, Dublin in Anglo Irish Literature.

PHIL HUNTER
Production Executive

Phil joined Mammoth Screen in August 2011. Prior to this he worked as a producer on HOLBY CITY and DOCTORS, and a script editor on shows including HUSTLE and EASTENDERS.

From 2002 – 2005 he was Head of Production at Leeds Indie Rollem Productions working on shows including BETWEEN THE SHEETS and FAT FRIENDS.

His first TV job was as a production accountant on PHOENIX NIGHTS, then worked on BLOOD STRANGERS, MY BEAUTIFUL SON and BOB AND ROSE.

Adrian O'Brien
Head of Programme Finance

Adrian joined Mammoth in 2011 as Head Of Programme Finance. Prior to this he worked at Left Bank Pictures as Finance Controller for Productions, overseeing projects such as MAD DOGS, ZEN, DCI BANKS and STRIKE BACK.

Prior to this he was a freelance production accountant, working on dramas including MURDER OF STEPHEN LAWRENCE, THE KNOCK, SPOOKS, ISLAND AT WAR, PRIME SUSPECT, CRACKER and MESSIAH. He has worked on light entertainment shows Including HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR YOU, WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY, CLIVE ANDERSON TALKS BACK, FATHER TED AND DINNER LADIES, and film work includes CAPTAIN JACK, DOG EAT DOG, DAYS OF FEAR and CRUST.

In 1990 he joined Limehouse Television as Company Accountant. He started out as an assistant accountant at Granada in Manchester.

SALLIE RYLE
Communications Consultant

Sallie joined Mammoth in 2011. Prior to this she worked at ITV in various senior roles, overseeing the planning and delivery of corporate and public affairs, marketing and branding strategies. Most recently she was Communications Consultant to ITV Studios, and prior to this she was Director of Programme Publicity at ITV PLC, Chief Press Officer at Granada Television, and Head of Publicity and Public Relations at Yorkshire Television.

She has worked with some of the most exciting and successful creative talent both on and off screen, and has a wealth of experience of the television industry from her many years working for ITV.

Karen Steele
Script Editor

Karen is script editor on MONROE II. Prior to this she script edited series 5 and 6 of LEWIS for ITV Studios. Prior to working at Mammoth she worked at the BBC Writers Academy, and also assistant script edited online EASTENDERS spin-off, E20. Previously, she freelanced as a script reader for the Soho Theatre, the BBC, and film producer Frida Torresblanco, as well as helping to develop and coordinate Initialize Films's script reading service and the ATHENA Screenwriters¹ Lab for Women. In 2007 Karen worked as Team Assistant/Script Reader for BBC Scotland Drama, and produced an in-house short film starring Martin Compston, THE PRAYER, which was nominated at Encounters film festival. Before this she worked in documentaries for a year, including the BIFA-nominated TOVARISCH, I AM NOT DEAD. She has worked in TV since 2005, starting out as an on-set drama trainee.

HELEN JENKINS
Script Editor

Helen joined Mammoth Screen in June 2010 to script edit MONROE. She is currently working across several projects in development.

Before this she script edited EASTENDERS and worked on two series of COMING UP for Channel 4. She spent a year as a researcher in factual entertainment before moving across to drama.

Helen read English at Cambridge University.

Morenike Williams
Script Executive

10enike joined Mammoth in June 2011 as a Script Executive. She was the Associate Producer on LEWIS and is currently the Script Executive on FALCÓN, a new detective show for Sky Atlantic.

Before joining Mammoth, morenike worked as a Story Producer on HOLBY CITY. She has also script edited SPOOKS (BBC), THORNE (Sky 1) and over ninety episodes of EMMERDALE for ITV. morenike started her career in television as a freelance script reader, before getting a job as a storyliner, writing stories for EMMERDALE. She has also worked in theatre as a producer, stage manager and script reader and has developed several film scripts.

Thom Hutchinson
Trainee Script Editor

Thom joined Mammoth Screen in November 2011 as assistant script editor on MONROE II. He has worked as an entertainment journalist, book editor, proofreader and travel writer, and continues to freelance as a writer, most recently scripting an award-winning film for the London 48 Hour Film Project. He spent two years on the programming board of the annual Bath Film Festival.

He received a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Warwick in 2007.

Brendan has also worked for several NI based companies including Inferno Productions and Lucid Dreams Ltd. He is a Film Studies graduate from Queens University, Belfast.

ANNZOE BRITTON
Executive Assistant to Michele Buck & Karen Thrussell/Office Manager

Annzoe joined Mammoth in Summer 2007. Previously she had worked with Michele and Damien for over 2 years at ITV Productions Drama.

Prior to this Annzoe worked as a PA/Co-ordinator at various record companies, artist management companies and a model agency before falling into TV production.

LOUISA FRENCH-GREENSLADE
Production Administrator & PA to Jon Williams

Louisa joined Mammoth Screen in September 2011 as Production Administrator and Assistant to Jon Williams.

Prior to this, Louisa acquired over six years freelance experience working in various drama production offices. Her most recent credits as Assistant Production Co-ordinator include GREAT EXPECTATIONS, HOLBY CITY, IDENTITY, LEWIS and WHITECHAPEL.
