Poldark wins BAFTA

Company News May 9, 2016

Poldark has won the Radio Times Audience Award at this year’s British Academy Television Awards following five weeks of voting on the Radio Times website.

The BBC1 period drama, adapted from Winston Graham’s novels by Debbie Horsfield and starring Aidan Turner, saw off stiff competition from Humans, Doctor Foster, Peter Kay’s Car Share, The Great British Bake Off and Making a Murderer to claim the prize – the only one decided by viewers who have previously championed Sherlock and Game of Thrones.
