Poldark nominated for 2 Broadcast Awards

Poldark has been nominated in 2 categories of the Broadcast Awards 2016 in what Broadcast has hailed as “the scripted renaissance”.

Poldark has picked up nominations for both Best Drama Series or Serial and International Programme Sales in the shortlisting, having already drawn two nominations in the Royal Television Society Craft and Design awards 2015 for Make up Design and Costume Design.

The Broadcast Awards 2016 takes place at the Grosvenor House hotel on 10 February.

Series 2 of the acclaimed BBC show is currently shooting in Cornwall, directed by Will Sinclair and Charlie Palmer and produced by Margaret Mitchell. Debbie Horsfield continues to adapt Winston Graham’s epic saga.
